With March Break around the corner, here are some opportunities for students to participate in throughout the week :
1) Young Voices Magazine deadline
The submission deadline for the 2022 Young Voices magazine is on Sunday March 27! Submit your art, photography, comics, stories, poems and writing at Toronto Public Library branches or online.
Released annually in October, Young Voices magazine is full of writing and art created and selected by Toronto youth age 12-19. Check out digital versions of past magazines to see the passionate, funny and moving work of Toronto’s young writers and artists.
2) March Break at the Toronto Public Library
In Person programs are still on hold at TPL but there are a number of online and socially distanced activities for teens.
a) Check out upcoming online programs during the break
b) Play our Online Escape Rooms with friends or family
c) Select Youth Hub locations will be offering creative Take & Make kits for pick up
3) Pillars of Healthy Living
The Albion Neighbourhood Services is hosting a series of free virtual workshops for youth ages 11+ via zoom this March Break! You can do as many as 3 workshops each day, or even just one workshop for the entire week.
