PROMO VIDEO: CLICK HERE!

The R.I.T.E.S. Program at Central Toronto Youth Services (CTYS) in collaboration with The George Hull Centre will be offering a 4-week hybrid summer group for youth ages 13 to 17 who identify as Black, African-Canadian, Afro-Caribbean and/or Afro-Latinx.

Participants of this summer group will engage in guided discussions and activities centered around the current social climate and experiences of Black lives. Given the realities of Black youth and the ongoing examples of anti-Black racism in society, we feel it is important to provide youth with safer and braver spaces to have meaningful, intentional conversations about what this means to them and their lives.

Attached you will find all the necessary information for the group, including a referral form, two frequently asked question (FAQ) sheets and a poster for the group. Where a young person is interested, a referral form must be completed and faxed to R.I.T.E.S. staff. The FAQ sheets also have a lot of information that may be helpful when sharing information about the group opportunity with clients.

Please note that the registration period will be between June 6th and July 2nd, 2022.
